ABOUT CRT
Chatterton Remedial Therapies is run by Marcus Chatterton.
Marcus is a fully insured member of the IRSM (Institute of Remedial and Sports Massage) and has completed his BTEC Level 5 in Soft Tissue Therapy at LSSM (London School Sports Massage). Marcus is fascinated by the human body and is currently broadening his already in depth knowledge by undertaking his Masters Degree in McTimoney Chiropractic.
Marcus’s inspiration came from receiving treatments for his own injuries and the difference they made to his recovery after injury. He knew then, that he found his calling and wanted to help as many people as he could struggling with pain and discomfort every day. Marcus’s own experiences mean that he truly understands the patient aspect of treatment as well as the clinical aspect of musculoskeletal dysfunction.
Philosophy
Chatterton Remedial Therapies strongly believes in treating the body holistically. This is because the body is made up of a vast and complex network called the neuromuscular system, which links different parts of the body together.
A session with CRT involves looking at how the body works as a whole as opposed to only looking at individual sections of the body, ensuring the greatest insight into the impact of patients pain and dysfunction.
Further, CRT understands that prevention of dysfunction and pain is of the same importance as remedying it. CRT pushes the importance of preventative maintenance treatments in order to identify and iron out any problems before they can manifest themselves .
